The Day I Realized...

...that I am not computer savvy.

This is what I looked like when I discovered the unread comments to my blog from the past six months.

The responses written in Chinese notwithstanding, a lot of you have been saying some really funny slash awesome things! Thank you! (And who knows, even the Chinese comments might be funny. Remind me to ask Julia some time.)

So sorry, everyone! I'm not ignoring you anymore! And know I never ignored out of anything but technological ignorance! (This is just another reminder that I clearly don't use my appliances to their fullest potential...)

Thanks for commenting from time to time! I know how to read them now!

Back Online and Baking Daily

I'm back in Virginia, folks!

After finishing up my fantastic internship at Trail West, driving for two days straight and sleeping for unrecorded amounts of time, I'm home for the holidays!

Looking forward to a baking class in April and (hopefully) a summer at Rockbridge, I'm presently occupied with getting back in the habit of actually using the internet, reading the Hobbit and, as is the Gross Family tradition, taking pictures of our dogs while they're asleep.

I've also been baking on a sometimes-daily basis. Here's the proof:
Those are the two that were left after I devoured approximately 4 1/2 spelt biscuits. Spelt being a cousin of gluten, I'm currently conducting a Can-Eva's Stomach-Handle-Spelt Experiment I'll have to keep you all posted on. More to come! Happy Friday, folks!
